PROJECT SCOPE: The Siren’s Cup is a fantasy-inspired tavern concept that blends tabletop gaming with immersive storytelling. The goal was to create more than a place to eat, drink, or play. It needed to feel like a hidden stop along an adventurer’s journey, where guests could gather around a table, take on a quest, and become part of the story. Rather than making fantasy feel dark or intimidating, I wanted the brand to feel magical, welcoming, and full of personality.

SOLUTION: The Siren’s Cup gave me the chance to bring together the parts of design I love most: illustration, character building, and storytelling. I began with nautical mythology and paired it with the warmth and familiarity of a neighborhood tavern. From there, I created a flexible logo system, a soft ocean-inspired color palette, adventurous typography, and custom characters that gave the world a personality of its own. I carried the identity into menus, a quest passport, story-driven posters, and environmental details, turning each piece into another part of the adventure.

Concept sketches

These early sketches became the foundation of my final designs, directly shaping the logo, menus, business cards, and even the tavern layout. I scanned the original pages and brought them into Adobe Illustrator, where I refined the hand-drawn concepts into polished, scalable graphics. This process allowed me to build a cohesive visual system while preserving the personality and magic of my original sketches.

Menu Design

Field Note:

The menus were one of my favorite pieces to design because they gave me a chance to bring the brand into every detail. I had so much fun creating original dish names that made The Siren’s Cup feel like a real, lived-in tavern. For the separate drink and specials menus, they act as part of the experience while reinforcing the fantasy and tabletop themes in a unique way.

Field Note:

‍I loved the idea of every guest receiving their own Adventurer’s Booklet, a personal keepsake where they could build their character profile, track quests, and collect rewards with every visit. I carried the brand’s typography, color palette, and illustrated details into the page layouts, making the booklet feel like an object pulled directly from the world of The Siren’s Cup. The final design blends storytelling with a practical loyalty system, and creating the physical mockup became one of my favorite parts of the project.
